WMF SILVER PLATED GOLD WASH TEA STRAINER LEMON STRAINER & BOWL Germany 1900s

  
It is marked on the bottom of the strainer Alpacca wiith the WMF Hallmark, I/O, d. However, this piece is silver plated.

That is shown by the acid test I ran. It also has something that looks gold and I believe is a gold wash over the silver plate inside the bowl of the strainer, and inside the cup, as seen in the photos. This piece weighs approximately 86.69 grams and measures approximately 3 across the round part of the strainer.

It stands approximately 1 1/8 tall. This interesting tea strainer set is in good vintage condition, as seen in the photos. There is a slight bend in the handle, but I believe that was how it was manufactured. There is also areas on the bottom of the cup where the plating has worn.
