Antique 4 pieces coffee and tea set of top quality silverplate from William Hutton and sons Sheffield. This stunning set silver plate is rarely viewed in this quality. Engraved with leaves and flowers in medaillons. Condition is nearly perfect for its age.

No dents the pots all stand firm on there bases. Around the medaillons you can see a de-coloration which i believe is from soldering the medaillons into the pots. Some medaillons left blanc for any armory engraving? Maybe these medaillons are solid silver for the engraving purpose? This is just a guess of me, not a certainty.

If anyone has more information, please let me know. Sugar pot some gilding in the interior. Some light scratches due to the age i mention to be complete in my description. I believe this set survived time extremely wel. Comes with the beautiful handle tray which, however, in not original part of the set.

Estimated age of the tray 40 years. Stamped' silver plate made in England. Coffeepot 28,5 cm 11,2 inch.
