Vintage Reed & Barton 5600 Regent Sterling Silver Plated 4 pc. Tea Set-Beautiful

  

Vintage Reed and Barton tea set Regent pattern. The 48 ounce pot, sugar and creamer are 5605. The butler tray is 05601. This is a very heavy set with beautiful details. The pot, creamer and sugar bowl are all footed.

The Regent pattern was made in the 1950's and 1960's. The sugar bowl does not have a lid.

The pot has a stain in the inside center bottom. The tray is large 26 1/4 x 17 1/2 inches. The inside flat part measures 17 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches weighs 9 pounds. It has a small ding on the serving surface, and some random pen tipped size pitting on the serving surface.

There is some camera glare in the pictures as well as the close up of the pieces appear darker in the middle as they are reflecting the person in front taking the pictures. All pieces have a beautiful shine all over. Until it is polished, you don't truly know the condition as to what is below any tarnish.

I just used silver polish and cleaned it per the instructions. Others may know tricks and tips, I was looking for flaws. We use a high resolution camera to give a detailed description of the items.
