Victorian Meriden B Company 1877 Silverplate Tea Set Lion Emblem M or W Monogram

  

This listing is for 4 piece silver plated tea set that you see in the photos. Some research tells me that it was probably made sometime between 1866 and 1898.

I think that the 1877 mark below the Meriden B Company mark is probably a model number. The monogram looks like an M or a W to me. A lid might be missing but I think maybe that piece never had a lid. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. Otherwise, the silver plate appears to be in excellent condition.

I do not see any dents or heavy scratches. Some greenish white oxidation or maybe silver polish can be seen inside the spout of the teapot.

The insides of the pieces are as shown. I have not tried to clean this set. Otherwise, this set is fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of the general condition. I guarantee this tea set to be as described and represented by the 28 photos after the general description.
