Unique Victorian era silver-plate teapot and sugar bowl with cover. This two piece set was made with the Egyptian Revival theme in mind. Features Egyptian lady on raised oval cameo with ornate Egyptian influenced design on one side and the opposite side displays a monogram inside of matching cameo. The cover displays a horse standing on its hind legs with his front legs attempting to roll a ball.

Both display lions heads on the base of the body terminating in horse's hooves as feet. The teapot has bluing on the hooves and the horse.

There is a minor ding on the top rim of the teapot. It appears that the teapot had been replaced at one time. Bears Webster backstamp on the underside.

Approximately 9 3/4" tall x 7 1/2" from spout to handle. The sugar bowl with cover has wear to the silver on the horse finial and bluing to the silver. 7 1/2" tall x 7 1/4" from handle to handle.

The set can be used as found or re-plated. The interiors have surface dirt and staining.
