Please keep this in mind when purchasing. Fabulous and unusual antique Electro-plated silver strawberry server by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield. This server is unique in that the clam shell plates which fit snuggly into the footed base are removable. The sugar bowl and creamer have lightly ruffled edges. The creamer's handle extends on each side ending with a calla lily.
It's in fine original condition with the exception of several light scratch marks on one of the dish/plates and a tiny speck on the interior of the sugar bowl. Very good antique condition, polished bright and sparkly. Overall dimensions are 17"long, 7 1/2"wide and 8tall at the handle top.
Beyond the intended purpose as a strawberry server, it's ideal for serving a variety of cakes and treats with tea.
