This antique Barker Ellis George II tea pot from England is a true gem for any collector. The craftsmanship of this silver plated teapot is evident in its intricate hammered design. The piece is adorned with a King George II Farthing coin from 1752, adding to its unique and rare nature.
The crest on the side of the pot shows a lion on top of a knight's helmet and a shield with 3 swords. Due to the antique age there is some discoloration from the pinking of the plate in certain places and a slight dent in the lid of the pot.
The size of the pot is approximate 6" tall and 8" from handle to spout. With a diameter of 5.25 of the pot itself.Perfect for tea or coffee or just to display, this tea pot is a must-have for any lover of silver antiques. This came from my mother's estate in Chevy Chase, MD.
They both collected wonderful antiques and vintages pieces throughout her life. She had an assortment of silver, pewter and red depression glass objects so look for more in my shop in the coming weeks.
All items listed in this store are preowned and will have some signs of wear. This is a separate shop just for my mom's beautiful pieces. Please review each picture carefully.
