This tea urn is in beautiful condition, especially for its age and use, with just a little base copper peaking through on some raised areas. Measurements: approx 13" tall, 9" diameter. 10 from back to tip of spout. 11 wide handle to handle.
Marks: No makers mark (typical for Old Sheffield Plate) if there was a mark, it may have been worn away. The urn is in good antique condition especially for its age and use.
Some typical signs of age and use like light surface scratches, small bruises. No visible wear to the plating other than the copper bleed through (which is actually desired for OSP) as previously mentioned.
There is some wear to the inside tinning. It sounds like some of the "concrete" in the base has come lose as you can hear some of it jostling. No obvious damage I can see. My pictures aren't doctored to hide flaws so please use photos as part of the description. My items are antique and vintage.
They have been loved through the years and most likely will show such. I do my very best to list the condition of my items as well as show pictures.
