Old Sheffield Plate Tea Coffee Urn Neoclassical Samovar

  

Gorgeous, antique, Old Sheffield Plate, tea urn/coffee. The urn sits on a square based stand with round feet has lion head door knocker handles. There is a floral band around the rim.

Please use the zoom feature to look at all the decorative features. This tea urn is in beautiful, working condition, especially for its age and use, with just a little base copper peaking through on some raised areas. Very solid and beautiful piece! Measurements: approx 18" tall, 10" diameter. 13 from back to tip of spout.

Marks: No makers mark (typical for Old Sheffield Plate) if there was a mark, it may have been worn away. The urn is in good antique condition especially for its age and use. Some typical signs of age and use like light surface scratches. No visible wear to the plating other than the copper bleed through (which is actually desired for OSP) as previously mentioned. The inside tinning needs cleaning.

There's a small chip to the top of the spigot handle (see pic). No obvious damage I can see. My pictures aren't doctored to hide flaws so please use photos as part of the description. My items are antique and vintage.
