A mid century design classic by the industrial designer and silversmith Cyril Shiner (ABRSA, MSIA). A four piece, silver plated, set that was originally designed for commercial use. The careful design allows for stacking of the parts for space saving storage.

The lids open to 180 degrees so that they can drain easily on a rack. Manufactured by Slade and Dolphin.

There is another example of the Easi-Nest in the V&A collection. Each piece is stamped on the base : Easi-Nest, A1 E. No 3948, Regd Design, 853938, Made in England.

Sugar bowl : 9.5cms wide x 6.5cms tall (stamped 5). Milk Jug : 8cms x 6cms. Hot Water jug : 10cms x 12.5cms. (stamped 5 and 2 inside the lid).
