Meriden Britannia Company Quadruple Plate Birds Etched Aesthetic Era Tea Pot. In good overall condition, this is an incredibly rare and beautiful piece with very ornate detailing, a stunning example of American silver plate manufactured during the Aesthetic era by one of the pioneering silver plate manufacturers of the late 19th century. Note that it is "dented in" at the bottom of the scrolling strip of flowers between the body and legs of the piece that causes the area to look flat. This damage does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece and I have included photos of this damage in the listing. 14 tall and 3 lbs heavy.
