GORGEOUS 3-PC AMERICAN SILVER PLATE CHASED DECORATED TEA SET, c. 1890's

  

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely American silver plate 3-piece tea set with elaborate chased design, c. T his beautiful set features florals and scrolls in high relief with intricate details.

Each piece has a large center cartouche for monogram with unusual design. The set is in very nice Estate condition with no dents or dings, only minor signs of normal use. Each piece is marked on the base although we do not recognize the mark and have been unable to identify the maker.

Tea Pot - Measures 9 1/2" high, 10 1/2" wide and 5 3/4 deep. Creamer - Measures 6" high, 5 1/2" wide and 3 1/4 deep.

Sugar - Measures 5 1/2" high, 8" wide and 5 1/4 deep. The set is in excellent condition with no noted dents or dings, although the teapot does sit a little off center with slight forward lean (see photos) -No other noted flaws. This is a stunning Victorian set that will be the star of any buffet setting and will be a pleasure to use and display!
