Have nothing in your houses that you do not consider to be beautiful or useful. French Art Deco Coffee/Tea Set by Albert Frionnet. A four piece, heavily silverplated coffee/tea service from the 1930s the French Art Deco period - by the master silversmith Albert Frionnet, who worked from 1911 to 1944, and had a shop at 8 rue des Quatre-Fils in Paris. Interestingly, the coffee and the tea pot are identical in size and styling. Both measure 6 ½ inches from the pedestal foot to the top of the macassar knob.
The sugar bowl is 4 ½ inches high and 4 inches in diameter. The milk jug/creamer is 3 ½ inches high. All pieces are hallmarked and stamped on the bottom and are in very good condition with only very faint traces of surface wear. The interiors are perfectly clean, ready for use.
The handles and knobs are well secured. It weighs 4 lbs in all. It is a classical inverted ziggurat styled set of the 1930s, which was probably not often used and well cleaned after it was. It looks very elegant on a sideboard and comes with a paint of art deco styled sugar tongs to complete the set. Vintage and antique objects have lived and been used and because of that, they sometimes show it.
The condition of the object is described as accurately as possible, including its character flaws. But that is really part of the attraction and enjoyment of an old piece. Please verify the package upon receipt and inform the postal authorities of any damage.
