Have nothing in your houses that you do not consider to be beautiful or useful. Exceptional French Art Deco Coffee & Tea Service by ERCUIS Algeria Model 1933.
A rare coffee and tea service by Ercuis, known as the Algeria model from 1934. Ercuis was and still is one of Frances great silversmith houses and this model is one of their most classical, iconic sets of the 1930s. The two pots coffee and tea - as well as the cream/milk jug and sugar bowl are in very good condition, with very light traces of surface use and the interiors are perfectly clean ready for use.
The pieces are styled with six side pans and small triangular bands around the base and around the top wooded knobs very geometrical Art Deco. The coffee pot measures 6 ¾ inches high, the teapot is 5 ½ inches, the lidded sugar bowl is 3 ¾ inches and the cream/milk is 3 ¼ inches high. A pair of art deco sugar tongs complement the set and are in very good condition. The Algeria model set by Ercuis is rarely found and in such very good condition, and is a striking example of Art Deco styling. Vintage and antique objects have lived and been used and because of that, they sometimes show it.
The condition of the object is described as accurately as possible, including its character flaws. But that is really part of the attraction and enjoyment of an old piece. Please verify the package upon receipt and inform the postal authorities of any damage. The item must be sent back in the same condition and in the same packaging.
