This exquisite 5-piece silverplate coffee and tea set is a lovely treasure from the Victorian era and is a great addition for any antique silverplate collector. This set features a stunning 10.5"inch Georgian Rose pattern Coffee pot, and 9"inch Teapot together with its' creamer, sugar and waste bowl and was crafted by the Simpson Hall & Miller Silver Company.
This matching numbered (#3043) set includes the coffee pot, the tea pot, sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl, and some extra silverplate pieces thrown in including. A 11" x14" Victorian square platter of another maker, and an early turn of the century salt and pepper shaker set. This is as it was found in an estate offering. The heavy quadruple silverplate composition of this set adds to its brilliant elegance and makes it a perfect addition for any tea party or any upcoming formal event. The set is estimated to be from the mid 1870's in age based on my experience and knowledge of similar era sets that I've handled. This set is a great conversation starter and looks great in the hutch, open-faced cupboard, or glass-front China display cabinet.
