My wonderful mother's fancy, too good to use, Ascot Sheffield Design Reproduction by Community 6 piece silver plated tea and coffee set. One great thing about this tea set is that the covers of the coffee and tea pot are attached by a hinge to the pot itself! So the lid will not accidentally fall of and break a prized tea cup! Oneida Silver company of Sherrill, NY, produced a Community Plate line from ca1920s-1960s. These items have been carefully stored in silver cloth (all but the tray which was wrapped well in other cloth).

These are in excellent condition! All six items are marked Ascot Sheffield Design Reproduction by Community. All items have beautiful etching and deep relief work around the edges, feet, on finials, handles and spouts!

The large tray has repousse handles!!!!!! See pictures #5 and #6. The Tray is 30.5" long and almost 18" wide. The width nearest the handles is 9.5.

Then the width grows to 16", and the middle width is almost 18". The large tray weights 10 pounds. The large coffee pot is 9.5" tall and about 10.5" from spout to handle. Its width is about 6.5. This pot weight is 2 pounds and 12 ounces.

The tea pot is 7.5" tall and about 11" long from spout to handle. Its width is about 6. The tea pot weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces. The sugar with lid, creamer, and cache pot are "about 5.75", 5", and 3.5" tall respectively.

Together they weigh 3 pounds. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Altogether this is a gorgeous matching ornate tea set that you will be proud to own and admire and use.
