Antique Silver Plate Tea Strainer with Wood Handle. Based on the size of the holes, this looks like an early piece designed for tea leaf, more typical at the time. It has an Art Nouveau look, with repousse and chased metal work. The bowl is leaf like, with narrow fluted "petals".
The handle is wood and extends 2-3/8 beyond the metal member which holds it. Total weight is 25.6 grams with a bowl measuring about 3 inches in diameter. The wood handle is solid and intact. The metal shows average surface wear with patches of tarnish, but has no significant damage and is as shown in the pictures.
All pictures show the actual Tea Strainer you will receive. Love and thank you from Laurence and Sally Martin!
