

Antique American silver-plated coffee and tea set by the Meriden Company (Meriden, Connecticut), Quadruple Plate, patented December 29, 1895. Late Victorian period, model 5083, with ornate repoussé floral decoration and classic curved forms. Five-piece set includes: coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl without lid, creamer, and small matching pitcher.
Gilt (gold wash) interiors on selected pieces. There is visible silver loss, most noticeable on the handles and spout of the large teapot, along with general wear to raised areas throughout. The large teapot has a small dent on the body (see photos). Gilt interiors show partial wear but remain present. No repairs and no structural damage observed. Displays well and retains strong period character. Please review all photos carefully as part of the description.
