Antique Victorian lithophane tea/food with oil lamp circa 1860. Listed is a wonderful Victoria's era tea/food warmer used by the more elite segments of 19th century society. This example has 4 porcelain lithophanes of European (probably German) country scenes which, when the oil fired heat source inside the unit is lit, illuminate the litho scenes.
This piece has the original oil burner with an attached cap to extinguish the (included) wick. There are no cracks or breaks in any of the porcelain panels and it is in overall very good condition.
