Antique Theodore Starr Silver on Copper Tea Coffee Service Set Art Deco 5 pc

  
For your consideration is an antique silver plate coffee/tea service set. This is silver on copper made by Theodore Starr. The Starr company produced fine quality items from the 1890's to 1924 in New York. It was succeeded by Reed & Barton.

This set has the large tray, two pots and the cream and sugar. An Art Deco design with the rigs on the lids and bases.

All pieces are hallmarked the same and marked silver on copper. This set has beautiful craftsmanship and is quite heavy. The design and scroll work on the handles is really lovely. The condition for this age piece is extremely exceptional. It is so shiny it gleams.

The creamer has a couple of light scratches, but otherwise the pieces look exceptional. The tray does have a couple of spots which I have shown in the photos. A wonderful antique service set is that unable to find condition.

The tray measures 23 1/2" handle to handle x 13", large pot measures 11" tall and 9 1/4" spout to handle, smaller pot measures 10" tall and 9" spout to handle, creamer 4 1/2" tall and 5" spout to handle, sugar 6 1/2" tall with lid and 6 1/2" handle to handle. Also the pots have a hinged lid and they work well. Check my other listings and make sure to stop back often as I do list new items frequently.
