Victorian Thomas Bradbury & Sons Circa 1850-80 Hand Chased Silverplate 5-piece Tea & Coffee Service/Set with Serving Tray in Excellent Near Mint Condition - Extremely Rare Find! Here we have a fabulous Antique Fine Quality Elaborately Hand Chased. Melon Design Silver Plated Tea & Coffee Service which is absolutely stunning. Incredibly special 19th century English silver plate made by Thomas Bradbury & Sons in Sheffield, England, decorated with foliage, flowers and embossed medallions. Very ornate hand chased set with beautiful details.

Exquisitely detailed this Rare 5-piece Silver Service with Service Tray can be an elegant addition to the refined home or office, ready for holiday entertaining and display. Presented is a fine quality, 5-piece, silver plated tea/coffee set made between 1850-80. Bulbous spherical vessels enhanced with a hand-chased floral theme, on one side and an empty cartouche on the other, no monogram, figural floral finials, fancy footed with a TON of Diamond Cut Details & Applied raised silver embellishments. It is hand hammered & Hand-worked with Hand applied Decorations! Lids have large Figural Finials, surrounded by Leaves and Buds.

Showing outstanding detailed solid castings shaping and the intricate chased details. The bodies are done in a classical melon form and each piece is raised on 4 decorative feet. Beautiful figural finials and handles, leaf design handles on the milk and sugar are also a very good focusing point.

Then the claw feet are absolutely beautifully finished. This set includes: 1 Coffeepot, 1 Teapot, 1 Creamer, 1 Sugar Bowl, 1 Large Serving Tray (not original to the set but the set and the tray look splendid together). As shown in photo: Thomas Bradbury & Sons (TBS & crown in shield) (H).

And date mark for 1857. Thomas Bradbury & Sons were silversmiths and Sheffield Plate makers based in Sheffield active between 1795 and 1943. B Rogers Co 1883 # 2261 Silver Plated Handled Etched Footed (Clawfoot) Serving/ Butler Tray. Marked "FB Rogers Silver Co 1883 2261". Large & Heavy Vintage Ornate Footed Silverplate Tray with Superb Engraved Motifs Beautifully Decorated Edges, Handles & Claw feet. No plate loss or structural damage. Large Tray with Amazing Design Fantastic Presentation Piece Highly Attractive Object (not original to the set but the set and the tray look great together). It measures 21 1/2" long with handles, 13 1/2" wide, and 2 tall at handles. Without the handles it measures 17.5 inches long. Approximate measurements of each piece are as follows.

Coffee Pot: 11 1/4" High and 9 1/4" Wide (handle to spout), 6.5 at widest spot. Large teapot 8" Tall including finial, 10" Wide from spout to end handle.

Sugar: 5 1/2" High to the top of the handle and 7.5" Wide (handle to handle). Creamer: 6" High to the top of the handle and 5" Wide (handle to spout). The set is solid and sturdy and weighs 10 lbs.

This Striking Set is in Excellent Near Mint Antique Condition, with some light scratches from polishing and very light use, some pitting on inside of pots only. Otherwise, this exquisite set is in excellent original condition. The Set has a polished shiny finish, it is very clean, and ready for immediate use. Bright mirrored splendid detail, finish with substantial plating.
