The set consists of a coffee pot, a tea pot, a sugar pot and a milk jar and of course the large tray to put it all on. It was made in the 19. Christofle is a very popular French silver and silver plated company, it has produced top quality items for centuries now. This set is a prime example of their expertise and high standards.

It is authentic from the 19. This is a very luxurious and unique set, it was very richly decorated and shaped, clearly made to be of functional value as well as aesthetic to the eye. This set is very beautiful to look at when put on a tea table in the living room. All of the legs of the various items were even beautifully decorated and shaped.

The shape of the pouring necks was also very elegantly done. Because of its age and authenticity, the items show some very minor signs of wear and one of the pots has a restauration on the bottom. It is completely out of sight when stood up.

But this is completely normal for a set this authentic. This is a very luxurious set that was often seen in mansions and castles in France in the 19. What is also nice and unique about this set is that it is still complete as a wholethe tray belongs with the items on it. Sometimes we find this mixed now in the market because things get lost over time, so this set still being complete (also with their accompanying lids) is quite unique. The handles of the tray were also beautifully shaped. All of the items were done in a heavy and good quality, still useable for many generations to come. It was professionally cleaned before listing. All the items were individually stamped, with a couple of stamps. It says Gallia, France, prod.

The stamps in the middle say.. 2 8 This signifies that all of them are original from the time. This is a beautiful antique set. The tray: 57 cm long x 40 cm wide (22 inch long x 16 inch wide). The large tea pot: 22 cm high x 22 cm wide (9 inch high x inch 9 wide).
