This is one very attractive early Edwardian tea set. It is a four piece set, nicely designed, the pieces each have engraving of grapes and vines to both the body and lids.
They stand on flared single pedestal feet with stylish scroll handles. The pieces are crafted in good quality quadruple silver plate marked to the base with numbers and they were made by the Apollo silver company. The set consists of a large sugar bowl, a creamer, a teapot and a milk jug. This is an early Edwardian set, c1902 made in the USA, very well made and designed by a respectable company.
A beautiful antique set for the home. Good used condition overall, some tarnish internally, light surface wear commensurate with age and use, some minor plate loss. 4.5 width inc handle.6.75 width including handles.
