Antique Silver Plated Charles Casper Tea Pot

  
Charles Casper (1840) immigrated from Prussia in 1860. Started the Meriden Silver Plate Company in 1869 in Meriden, Ct. Further information can be gathered online. There is a dog that sits on the top of the Lid.

The lid is firmly attached but looks like a pin or nail has been inserted into the hinge. There are faces above each leg. Each leg has a horses hoof at the bottom. This is a darling teapot. It's in a pretty fine state.
