Antique Silver Plate Victorian Spirit Kettle/Tea Pot with Stand and Burner

  

Gorgeous silver plate spirit kettle, complete with burner. I wish I could figure out the maker of this tea pot, the bottom is marked as "H & S" with an "L" beneath it, with much searching I was not able to find any reference to this maker.

These tea pots were called spirit kettles because the fuel for the burner was often an alcohol. My Great Aunt bought this as an antique at Gumps in San Francisco and the tag from Gumps was kept in the pot. There is a lot of patina on the silver, and several areas of wear that the silver plate was scrubbed off.

It is a bit hard to tell with the patina but the final three photos I documented the worn spots that I was able to identifyas being wear through rather than tarnish. The fourth from last photo shows the one small dent that is present. The inside is very clean and in nice condition. Three feet sit flat on the table and one foot sits with about a quarter inch gap under it.

Measures 13" tall and approximately 9" tall and it's widest (spout to back of kettle).
