Antique Silver Plate Melon Tea Pot

  
This is a superb and rare to find Antique Silver Plate Tea Pot on the form of a Melon and has a wonderful look to it. To the base is the makers name of A.

Fielding, 68 Tottenham Court Road, London. The tea pot is in good condition with no dings or dents but does have a small amount of plate loss to the lid and it doesn't sit quite straight when closed plus there's a couple of minor surface repairs at the base of the spout and a small one on top, but nothing internal. The hinge however is in good condition. The interior is in good condition but does look used so would benefit from a little clean. It has been tested with water and does not leak so could be useable.
