The handles on the Samovar and the sugar bowl have a man's bust attached. The other pieces have leaves or wings attached to the handle.
All of the legs have a mythological style mask face. The bodies of the pieces are etched with floral motifs. The bottoms of the pieces are marked MF'D & Plated by Reed & Barton on 2569 Design Pat'd April 18 1871. The measurements of the pieces are appropriate. Samovar Coffee/Tea Urn with the lid in place 15.5. Coffee Pot #6 10.25.Tea or Water Pot #5 10. Open Creamer 6.5 to top of handle.
Open Sugar 5.5 to top of handle. The pieces are in good condition with some silver plate ware commensurate to age and normal use. Minor nicks to the silver plate on a few pieces. Some staining and all the pieces need a light polish.The hinge on the lid of the water pot is attached but needs repair. Please view pictures thoroughly as they are part of the description.
