All of the pieces have a beautiful detailed flower pattern engraved on them. These pieces are in very good to excellent condition. There is a very tiny "ding" on the handle of the tea pot. The handle has a "flower pad" which the knob of the lid rests on when fully opened to protect the handle. The set has a very nice patina, which is typical of Homan Quadruple Silver Plate for this time period.
Each piece in the set is stamped #2011 on the bottom along with the Homan Anchor Logo. I recently had the set appraised.
The appraisal info is listed below. Based upon a review of information you provided and published completed sales data for similar items, the current market retail replacement value for your silverplate grouping is estimated to range from. Based on overall condition and regional market demand.
Hope this information helps and thanks for using JustAnswer! In 1896, the firm was listed as the Homan Silver Plate Co. And between 1904 and 1915, they became the Homa Mfg. They were out of business by 1941. I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
