One plate is blank, the other bears the script initials,'J. The teapot has its original handle which has been repaired on the upper part with a brass staple. The finial is crude and looks to be a much later replacement. The teapot is very stylish. It measures about 10 1/2 inches from back of the handle to the spout. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial. The teapot weighs about 586 grams in total. The pot is in fair condition with extensive "bleeding" with the under-copper showing through in many raised areas from polishing over 200 years. Minor wear and tear throughout.
