The pot with stand is a little over 9 inches in height. The stand has ornate hoof feet and is reticulated. It retains the original alcohol burner that has an ingenious flip lid and is marked for a patent 1758. Heavy duty silver over copper and in very good well cared for condition. The pot is clean inside and out and may need a quick touch up polish to shine like new.
This dates to the early 1900s and is marked for Baker Ellis and England. There is also numbers added by the original owner to identify in case of theft. A really neat antique tea or hot water kettle to use.
