Rare antique silver plated tea caddy. Bombe shape with embossed floral and engine turned pattern.
Stamped on base Samuel Coulson & Co, Patentees, Sheffield, 1420. Silver plate is in excellent condition, please note a possible old repair to the hinge. Samuel Coulson set up in partnership with George Walker in 1845, pre-dating Walker & Hall. Measurements: L11.5cm x W 8.5cm x H10cm.
