Antique Barbour Victorian Silver Plate Hand Chased EPNS 5 Piece Tea Set Repousse

  
This antique Barbour Victorian silver plate tea set is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made by the Barbour Silverplate Company during the 1800's. The set includes five pieces as follows.

Each piece has gorgeous design of birds, leaves, & flowers. The detail in shown by the fact that the teapot has design on spout and handle. Each piece is crafted with intricate hand chasing and silver composition.

The silver color and Victorian style add a touch of elegance to any tea time. Each piece is marked Barbour. The teapot is 7" tall and the creamer is 5.5"tall.

It has a few very minor dings after 150 years. I polished the sugar lid and it came out quite nicely even though it was not a very good polish brand so I think it all will benefit from a polish job with a good silver polish. I added a coupe of photos at the end of the photos to show the results.

The Barbour brand is known for its quality and this tea set is no exception.
