5 Pc John Carrow Philadelphia Silverplate Teaset Victorian Coffee Tea Set 1876

  
This service was produced by John Carrow, who did business there from 1884. The design features foliate motifs, including roses and other flowers. This set has Lovely urn finials and very good elaborate scrolled feet. Pieces are marked and numbered 2760, triple plate, with a patent date of 1876. This set includes 2 identical 12 pots, large cream pitcher, lidded sugar bowl and waste bowl. Original thin lacquer coat shows light flaking, producing tarnished spots that can be polished away easily. The plating is very good; no loss to speak of. Hinged lids are intact, and this set has seen only very little use. P lease view all of the images, as they are part of this description. Good Vintage late 19th C.
