Co acquired and took over the business and goodwill of Wallace Brothers. Stunning set produced as part of a collaborative or transatlantic manufacturing process-an approach not typical for Wallace, but occasionally seen, especially during the mid-20th century.
The set shows no dents, monograms, breaks, or repairs. Hinges and handles (solid ebony) are strong, with original celluloid finials secured by round nuts. All interiors are clean, free of corrosion or buildup, and retain most of their original finishes. The exterior boasts a substantial, bright mirrored surface with impeccable detail in the hand-chased embossing and solid applied castings. Minor signs of wear and use are present. Coffee pot 9", Teapot 5 7/8", open sugar & creamer 3 7/8" and waste slop bowl about 3" all Stamped E-1712 Wallace EP on Copper Made in England plated in USA 1218.
