1890's Dutch silver plate tea caddy Rococo embossed flowers, children, scrolls

  

Very ornate Dutch silver plate on copper tea caddy of double baluster form. Embossed all over in Rococo style with scrolls, flowers and village scenes depicting children playing music. 7.5 x 6 cm across widest part.

Wear to silvering appropriate to age and use; dings along the neck and foot of the caddy; two tiny splits to corners of neck; split along the seam of the foot on one side.
