1873 Reed & Barton Silver Plate Aesthetic Movement 3 Pc Coffee Tea Creamer Set

  
This is a gorgeous Reed & Barton 3 piece coffee, tea and creamer set designed by George Gill. They are marked 2629 6, 2629 7 Aug 12 1873, Aug 12 1873. The coffee is about 11 tall from bottom of feet to top of Lion finial, the teapot measures approx. 10 1/4" tall, and the creamer is 7" tall. The finials have a lion with a shield, the is a sail boat on all of the ends of the handles, and they all have an etched Asian motif. The teapot has a shallow dent, the coffee pot has a deep dent on one side and a shallow on the other. The creamer also has a couple of dents (please see pics). I'll leave the polishing to their new owner. A gorgeous and rare set. This set is on Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. To See More Items I Have On.
