Rare and handsome WMF & Wachtersbach keramik / porcelain and metal cornered / lidded box, Jugendstil / secessionist. Looks stunning in this very rare graduated green grass colour.

Marked on the base for Wachtersbach. This is the larger of two sizes offered by WMF. Can be locked with a padlock if you have one. 24.00 cm Long 13.50 cm Wide 12.50 cm High.

Commensurate to an old antique item that has been used but remains in very good overall condition, the images form part of the description. Very small surface loss to the porcelain box lid towards the top righthand corner next to the metal edge, about 1.5mm in size.

Note the image of the top shows a shadow to the right side of the metal lid and is not a defect. Reflections also present on the images, the pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this box is.
