Wallace Baroque Silver Plate 4 Piece Coffee and Tea Service

  

Up for your consideration we are offering a lovely Victorian silver plated coffee service by Forbes Silver Company. The set includes a coffee pot, tea pot, cream pitcher, and open sugar bowl. The elegant serving pieces are surrounded by a raised decorative relief of ornate holly boughs at the base and around the neck. All pieces are in very good condition structurally for their vintage. All hinges are in good repair and operate as intended.

No serious denting although a small "ding" is seen to the top of the handle on the coffee and teapots. There are substantial areas of plate loss, most notable on one side of the teapot, as a couple of significant rub spots with scratching and plate loss on one side of the creamer (please note the photos). Faint surface scratching is also present, along with a few more visible scratches and insignificant pin prick dots of plate loss on all of the pieces. All of the pieces still hold a brilliant shine at full polish, and displays nicely. The coffee pot stands 10" in height, the tea pot 9", the creamer 5.5", and the sugar bowl with cover on is 5".
