Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for an impressive silver plated tea kettle/samovar, c.
The samovar has an egg-shaped body with tall cast handles and engraved decoration on both sides of the body. The samovar has a long extended spout and a tall lid with pineapple finial. The body sits on a tall pedestal base attached to a square base with both the found bottom and square base with both being engraved. There is a fancy engraved initial "W" in center of body above the spout. This nice samovar is of very high quality and would definitely make a statement used on a buffet table or sideboard. Measures 15" high (to top of handles), approximately 19 1/2" high (to top of lid), 9" wide (handle to handle), with a 6 3/8" wide base. This lovely samovar is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is some minor roughness below the handle on one side with very faint pitting that is barely visible otherwise the piece reflects only minor signs of normal wear.
