A very well-made vintage English silver plated (on copper) oval gallery tray of large size, measuring 51cm by 31.5cm approx. 20 x 12 1/2 inches.

Lovely pierced rise & fall gallery rail with a classical pattern and inset cutout handles. The perfect accessory for adding a bit of Downton Abbey style to the upcoming festive season at home - ideal for serving champagne or cocktails in gorgeous glassware before dinner, or for enjoying elegant afternoon tea from fine bone china in front of the fire!

Just imagine Carson carrying it into the drawing room.. Offered for sale in very good used condition. No plate loss or copper bleed but it does have all the usual signs of use associated with items of this age and nature. The surface has a plain polished mirror finish which has fine scratches, some black spots and a small dent at one end - all clearly shown in the photographs.

Priced accordingly but please remember that it is old and has been used so be realistic about the condition of vintage items. Trays of this size and quality are increasingly hard to come by, and new ones cost considerably more.
