Rare Bachelors Size Antique Victorian Silver Plated SPIRIT KETTLE Tea Pot Stand

  
This is a rare bachelor size (smaller), late 19th-century Victorian English silver plated antique spirit tea kettle. The hinged base allows the teapot to be tilted for pouring.

The teapot is detachable, and kept secured by the two chained keys. Original spirit burner and wick, in working order.

It has a capacity of approximately 0.7 litres/1.25 Imperial pints/1.5 US pints. DIMENSION: Length rear to spout 19cm (7 1/2). Total height to handle 28.5cm (11 1/4). CONDITION : Age-related wear, areas of silver plate loss to one side (top left) of the body, the lid, the stand and the spirit burner.
