19th c Silver Tea Service, Empire Style, Swan Spout Design 1850 -1880

  

Object: Empire Style Tea Set with swan design spout. Estimated Period: 1850 - 1880.

Country of Origin: possibly Russian. 31 x 12 x 25 cm, 27 x 26 x 14 cm, 22 x 16 x 12 cm. Superb quality silver plated 3 piece tea set made in the empire style with four lions paw feet and a uniquely designed napoleonic swan head spout.

Each piece stamped with maker's mark on the base, hammer and crosier, 30 and 20. Please refer to photograph of makers stamp mark. Highly elaborate design with lions paw feet and swan head spout. A dragooned raised relief feather pattern adorns the top part of each leg uniquely positioned on an egg shape base.

Complete with feather design finial top and slender handles. Condition is very good, with no unsightly marks to the silvering.
